Music on Hold can be used when callers wait for further actions, in order to maintain the telephone connection and make the wait time more pleasant. Music on Hold is automatically played to the caller during waiting time duration but music ends when the call continues.
You may configure the Music on Hold using below steps:
1. Login to your Voice account. Go to Side Menu--> Manage--> Music On Hold.
2. You will see all your MOH listed on Music On Hold page. Click on NEW button to upload new MOH file in .mp3 or .wav file.
3. Give a suitable title to your Music file so as to select the same file in IVR.
4. Once you upload the MOH file, you will start getting those files under dropdown for "Background music" within IVR while configuring Dial and Script widget.
If you want to make any file as default one to be played when customer is on hold, then select the default MOH file under Account Settings. This will be applicable for all newly created IVRs.
